This class will explore your own Irish identity through discussion, readings and in-class exercises. You will unearth and give voice to memories, stories, and heritage. Participants will also purchase and read selections from Jim Roger's essay collection, Irish-American Autobiography.
Teacher Bio: Jim Rogers is the editor of New Hibernia Review, the director of the Center for Irish Studies at the University of St Thomas, and a past president of the American Conference for Irish Studies. He is the author of numerous articles and reviews on Irish-American history and literature, and has written or edited three books on the topic. His latest book is Irish-American Autobiography (CUA Press, 2016).
