An exciting new mix of Country, Folk and Irish Traditional Music!

Briste is Alison Crossey (guitar, bodhrán), Emma Robinson (flute, whistle), and Joanna Boyle (song, banjo) from Counties Armagh and Monaghan.

Briste developed towards the end of 2015, although the women; Emma, Joanna, and Alison have been playing traditional music together from a very young age. The musicians are known widely throughout Ireland and have been extremely lucky to earn many Ulster and All Ireland titles.

Joanna and Emma have been playing professionally with Síoda for five years. Likewise, Emma and Alison have been a part of the Pj McDonald Band. Both together and separately, the girls have played in various concert halls, venues and sessions all over the world and decided to form the trio to combine a mixture of sounds they have acquired over the years.  The result is Briste.
