Originally from County Cork, Ireland, Máirtín de Cógáin sings, dances, tells stories, plays the bodhrán, and is known to Minnesota Irish Fair audiences as the front man for The Fuchsia Band. He is also an actor, most notably in the film “The Wind that Shakes the Barley.” Máirtín’s website states that, “On the night of a full moon it is rumored de Cógáin stands at the cross roads playing to the wind.”

Brian Miller’s intricate yet driving guitar style has made him one of the most sought after accompanists in the North American Irish music scene. He is also a member of the band Bua and our local hero.

Devin Shepherd studied with fiddler Liz Carroll among other greats, and his stylistic development focused on legendary fiddlers including Michael Coleman. He is also a member of Irish Music Awards’ 2009 “Top Traditional Group” Bua.
